Our story

Some brands are born from strategy. Ours was born from a connection, and a shared vision.

We met while studying fashion in Paris. At first, we were just classmates, naturally teaming up for group projects because we got along well. As time went on, our collaboration evolved into a true friendship, and eventually, into the foundation of a brand that reflects who we are.

We come from very different places, one from Tahiti, the other from Paris. Two cultures, two sensibilities, and two inspirations that we bring into harmony. Our origins are at the heart of Maison Manea. They influence our identity, our color palette, our materials, and the overall energy of the brand. We wanted to create something that felt true to both of us: modern yet rooted, soft yet strong.

From the beginning, we knew we wanted to make people feel good in our clothes. To offer pieces that bring a sense of calm, confidence, and beauty, what we like to call “starting the day with good energy.” That’s why we naturally turned to loungewear. We wanted to design clothes we ourselves would love to wear all day: at home, to sleep, or even outside with ease and elegance.

The idea became a reality in June 2024. From that moment, everything began to take shape. We challenged ourselves from the start, working with silk, designing reversible pieces, and building every step from scratch. Seeing our first creations come to life is still one of our proudest moments.

The name Maison Manea carries deep meaning for us. Manea is the second name of both a mother and a grandmother, women who passed on strength, elegance, and values we carry into this project. On an other side, sewing is a family legacy, passed down from grandmother to mother, then from mother to daughter. On the other, the name itself is a tribute to the women who shaped us. Through this brand, we honor them all, and the heritage they gave us.

Maison Manea is more than clothing. It’s our story. Our roots. Our friendship. Our tribute to the women who came before us, and to the ones we create for today.

And this is just the beginning.
